Description/Interesting Notes:
An absolutely magnificent example of azurite from New Mexico!!! This specimen consists of a pristine, undamaged rosette of
royal blue azurite crystals that hosts a small, tubular crinoid fossil partially intergrown with it - most unusual feature indeed!!!
The azurite crystals have lustrous, razor-sharp faces with lively deep blue color!!! The crystals are arranged in a striking
rosette that displays magnificently all around!!! The specimen is pristine and undamaged all around!!! This is truly an
outstanding asterisk-like rosette - with a very unusual association as well!!! Absolutely gorgeous in person!!!
This specimen is from the lifelong personal collection of Frank & Wendy Melanson!!!
The pics hardly do it justice!!! Must be seen in person to be fully appreciated!!!
Good luck and be sure to check out my other exciting mineral auctions on ebay!!!
