Description/Interesting Notes: A terrific example of azurite from this seldom referenced Mexican locality!!! This specimen consists of a cluster of altered quartz crystals that are coated by a thin coating of light blue and pinkish unidentified mineralization that hosts numerous sharp, brilliantly lustrous crystals of deep royal blue azurite!!! The azurite crystals are prominently perched atop the pale blue and pinkish spires of quartz and are quite showy in person!!! This specimen is WAY better than the pics show!!! The azurite crystals are complete and undamaged!!! This specimen is quite striking in person!!! This specimen is from the collection of Glenn Nicol and retains its orginal label as well!!!
