A magnificent, old time example of malachite after azurite from Bisbee!!! This specimen hosts a pair of intersecting
crystals of malachite after azurite prominently perched on a small amount of matrix!!! The crystals are sharp and complete with
striking green color and outstanding luster!!! The crystals appear to have two layers with one having amazing, glassy luster and
razor-sharp detail!!! This layering gives ther terminations the appearance of
being slightly hoppered in areas!!! This is amazing material of superb quality that dates to the late 1940's and came from the
1300 level of the Campbell Shaft!!! These specimens
are famed for their amazingly fine quality and are highly prized by collectors as a result!!! This specimen
is in magnificent condition and displays gorgeously all around!!! Classic material!!!
The pics hardly do it justice!!! Must be seen in person to be fully appreciated!!!
