An outstanding example of azurite and malachite from Bisbee!!! This specimen consists of a cluster of large, intergrown, azurite crystals
partially altered to malachite!!! The crystals are sharp and complete!!! The azurite is highly lustrous and the malachite has areas of chatoyance!!! The colors
are intense and the combination is striking!!! This is a fantastic specimen indeed - the pics don't even come close to capturing
just how fine it is!!! This specimen was priced at $850!!! This is an OLD Bisbee specimen - the (1863-1913) collection was donated to Harvard in 1911!!! From Harvard
it went to the collection of W. J. Rodekohr (1894-1979) who was curator of the California Institute of Technology's mineral collection in the early 1960's!!! The pics hardly do it justice!!!
Good luck and be sure to check out my other exciting mineral auctions on ebay!!!
