A fantastic old time example of azurite from Germany!!! This specimen consists of a matrix comprised of fluorite, quartz, and barite that hosts
a rich distribution of multi-hued botryoids of blue azurite!!! The color ranges from sky blue to an intense, almost electric, royal blue!!! When closely examined
it becomes apparent that the most of the azurite is present as groups of balls rather than contiguous masses!!! The specimen is quite striking in person!!! The
pics hardly do it justice!!! This specimen retains an old label from the Bauer collection!!!
