Azurite Tsumeb, Namibia 2.6cm x 1.4cm x 1.07cm

Description/Interesting Notes: A fantastic example of azurite from Tsumeb!!! This specimen consists of a sharp, single crystal of azurite on a small amount of matrix!!! The azurite crystal is sharp and completely terminated!!! The crystal has glassy luster, deep royal blue color, and -when backlit- has gem clarity!!! The matrix hosts two unidentified species, one being a well crystallized. grassy-green colored species (possibly arsentsumebite) and the other being an unusual very "furry" acicular crystal of a slightly bluish green color - very curious indeed!!! Rare species aside, this is a very handsome azurite crystal indeed!!! The pics hardly do it justice!!! Good luck and be sure to check out my other exciting mineral auctions on ebay!!!
