Description/Interesting Notes:
An absolutely exceptional example of azurite from Zacatecas!!! This specimen consists of a broad vug that is lined with razor-sharp, bladed crystals of
GEM azurite in association with olive green olivenite!!! The azurite crystals are absolutely pristine and have wildly intenes blue color!!! If you have EVER seen
a good example of Zacatecas azurite you know just how incredible this material is - the pics don't even begin to capture it!!! The azurite crystals are on a layer of
fine, acicular olive green to green olivenite that almost appears botryoidal in areas!!! There are some areas in the pictures that might at first appear to be
balls of azurite crystals that are possibly damaged - however they are actually tight balls of olivenite and tiny blades of azurite that are
totally complete!!! The olive green botryoidal material might also appear smooth in some areas, however in person it is undoubtedly "furry"!!! The combination of
colors and textures is simply out of this world!!! This specimen is truly a KILLER - one of the best Cobre Mine azurites I have seen!!! These old time beauties were
never available in any quantity and are quite rare on todays market!!! This specimen is absolutely pristine and displays incredibly!!! This is a superb and valuable
specimen indeed!!! You do not want to miss out on this rare opportunity!!! The pics don't even come close to doing it justice!!!
