Azurite with Arsentsumebite Tsumeb, Namibia 4.8cm x 2.9cm x 2cm

Description/Interesting Notes: A unique and attractive example of azurite and arsentsumebite from Tsumeb!!! This specimen is comprised almost entitely of crystalline azurite and is accented by lively green microcrystalline arsentsumebite!!! What makes this specimen unique is that the crystals are all comprised of very thin blades!!! This is a network of intergrown, finely bladed crystals!!! It is difficult to appreciate from the pics, but none of the individual crystals are thicker than perhaps 1-2 millimeters!!! The crystals have an overall rectangular shape with glassy luster and many of the crystals have fine gemmy clarity as well!!! This specimen is very showy in person and way better than the pics show!!! Very unique material!!! The pics hardly do it justice!!! Must be seen in person to be fully appreciated!!!
