Description/Interesting Notes: A unique and impressive example of azurite from Tsumeb!!! This specimen consists of a striking, 4.1cm long crystal of azurite in association with some highly complex crystals of wulfenite!!! The azurite has a dramatically elongated habit that is quite striking indeed!!! The crystal has razor-sharp faces, glassy luster, and deep royal blue color!!! The crystal is doubly terminated and complete!!! There are a few tiny azurite crystals in association as well as a network of complex, tan colored qulfenite crystals!!! While the crystal has a few small nicks, its dramatic habit and sharp, lustrous faces make for a very showy and impressive specimen regardless!!! This unique beauty is from the collection of Florence Mecke and retains her original label as well!!! The pics hardly do it justice!!! Must be seen in person to be fully appreciated!!!
