Description/Interesting Notes: A gorgeous example of azurite from this classic locality!!! This specimen consists of a striking azurite rosette in association with a small amount of contrasting green malachite!!! The azurite crystals are particularly fine with brilliant, glassy luster and choice, intense blue color!!! The crystals have sharp, complex faces and, upon close inspection, one can even see that some of the crystals have zones of gemminess with surrounding borders of brighter blue azurite!!! This specimen is in magnificent condition and displays fantastically all around!!! A striking and particularly fine azurite from the locality!!! The pics hardly do it justice!!!
