Description/Interesting Notes:
A classic, old time example of azurite on tenorite from Russia!!! This specimen consists of a dense, solid mass of black
tenorite that hosts patches of sparkling, royal blue crystals of azurite!!! Upon close inspection, one can see that the
azurite crystals are very well formed, highly lustrous, and have intense royal blue color!!! There is a small amount of malachite in association as well!!!
This specimen retains several old labels including two old labels that note the specimen as coming from the Imperial Society!!! The specimen also
retains an A.E. Seaman Mineral Museum with William Shelton Collection notation!!! The Shelton Collection contained an extraordinary collection of historic Russian minerals!!!
The pics hardly do it justice!!!
Good luck and be sure to check out my other exciting mineral auctions on ebay!!!
