Description/Interesting Notes:
A fantastic example of azurite from Tsumeb!!! This specimen consists of a dense cluster of lustrous, sharply terminated crystals
of azurite in association with a small amount of malachite!!! The azurite crystals are sharp, glassy, and gemmy with rich royal blue
color!!! Some of the crystals show some partial alteration to malachite which provides a handsome green accent to the crystals!!! The
azurite crystals seem to radiate out in all directions - it is difficult to tell from the pictures but this specimen is very densely
populated with sharp, lustrous azurite crystals - there are so many more crystals than it even appears in the pics!!! This specimen is
in fantastic condition and displays magnificently in person!!!
The pics hardly do it justice!!! Must be seen in person to be fully appreciated!!!
