Description/Interesting Notes: A VERY rare example of malachite & chrysocolla after azurite with quartz from Wyoming!!! Specimens from this locality are extraordinarily scarce indeed!!! This specimen came from the collection of one time Wyoming residents Mel & Grace Dyck!!! This specimen hosts a colorful showing of bladed groups of azurite crystals that are in various states of replacement by malachite and chrysocolla!!! All of these lovely clusters of colorful crystals were subsequently coated by a thin layer of druzy quartz crystals!!! This specimen is in magnificent condition and displays gorgeously!!! The specimen has a painted on label on the reverse in Dyck's hand as well!!! This is an EXTRAORDINARY specimen from Wyoming - I would be surprised if I see another in my lifetime!!!
