Description/Interesting Notes: A fantastic example of this rare species from South Africa!!! This specimen hosts a sharp, lustrous crystal of darkly colored baddeleyite on matrix!!! The crystal shows a complexly elongated habit and bright luster!!! The crystal appears to be terminated and measures nearly 1.5cm!!! These old time baddelyite specimens from Palabora are quite scarce indeed!!! Rare material!!! The pics hardly do it justice!!! Must be seen in person to be fully appreciated!!! This specimen is from the collection of Tony Nikischer!!!
