Description/Interesting Notes: A rare example of bahianite from the type locality in Brazil!!! This specimen consists of a single worn pebble of tan colored bahianite!!! While this rare material is almost always encountered as alluvial pebbles, however in rare situations tiny crystals can be seen within cavities in the pebbles!!! Upon close examination with a loupe or scope one can see several areas of tiny sharp submillimeter crystals tucked in the recesses of the small cavities!!!
