Description/Interesting Notes: A terrific, old time example of barite from this classic locality!!! This specimen consists of a group of sharp, parallel associated barite crystals that host a striking phantom within!!! The crystals are lustrous and gemmy with color that ranges from slightly bluish gray at the base that punctuates in a bold, root-beer colored phantom followed by a zone of colorless barite!!! The specimen is quite old and shows some minor wear but, as you can see, it displays quite handsomely!!! The pics hardly do it justice!!!
