Description/Interesting Notes: A unique example of barite from Nevada!!! This specimen consists of single crystal of barite with two smaller barite crystals and a small amount of matrix in association!!! The barite crystals have attractive red-orange highlights of included realgar!!! In addition to the realgar, the barite crystals are accented by a druze of tiny quartz crystals on the reverse and a small amount of whitish hyalite opal on the tips of the crystals!!! the pics hardly do it justice!!!
