Description/Interesting Notes: A terrific, old time example of baryte from this classic German locality!!! This specimen hosts a broad face covered with a rich showing of sharp, gemmy, water-clear crystals of baryte that range in size to nearly 1cm!!! The baryte is present as sharp, tabular crystals with beveled edges!!! The crystals are randomly juxtaposed and, upon close inspection, many can be seen to be doubly terminated!!! This specimen retains an old, affixed, unattributed handwritten label as well!!! Old material!!! The pics hardly do it justice!!! Must be seen in person to be fully appreciated!!!
