Description/Interesting Notes: A classic, old time example of baryte from England!!! This specimen consists of a complex, doubly terminated crystal of baryite in association with a small amount of dolomite and handsomely accented by reddish phantoms of hematite inclusions!!! The baryte crystal has characteristic pale blue color and clarity that ranges from translucent to gemmy!!! The outer faces of the baryte crystals are accented by well defined areas of reddish hematite inclusions as well!!! There is a second smaller, intergrown baryite crystal in association as well as areas of tiny dolomite crystals!!! The baryite crystals are brilliantly lustrous and very showy in person!!! Classic material!!! The pics hardly do it justice!!! Must be seen in person to be fully appreciated!!! This specimen is from the collection of Tony Nikischer!!! We just acquired the 6000+ specimen PERSONAL collection of Tony Nikischer and there are going to be some very exciting minerals to come in the upcoming days and weeks!!!
