An absolutely INCREDIBLE example of benitoite from California!!! This specimen hosts an UNHEARD OF 3.1cm crystal!!! This specimen consists of a
rounded crossite nodule that hosts a stunning cluster of sharp, deep blue benitoite crystals!!! The crystals are razor-sharp and huge!!! The crystals
have a bright, almost velveteen luster with the thin edges having glassy luster!!! Scattered across the white natrolite and gray crossite matrix are
several tiny benitoite crystals and a few joaquinite crystals as well!!! This is an extraordinary specimen indeed!!! Crystals of benitoite this size are
very scarce!!! This specimen comes from material that had long been stashed away by Buzz Gray, one of the former owners of this famous locale!!! This is
a valuable specimen and WAY better than the pics show (the pics were taken in our hotel room here in Tucson!)!!! You don't want to miss out on this one!!!
