Description/Interesting Notes: A terrific, old time example of native bismuth from Connecticut!!! This specimen hosts complex crystals of native bismuth on a quartz matrix!!! The native bismuth has brilliant metallic luster, sharply defined features, and a characteristic pinkish silver hue!!! This specimen likely dates to the 19th century and retains an old label from the A.E. Seaman Mineral Museum!!! The pics hardly do it justice!!! Must be seen in person to be fully appreciated!!!
