Description/Interesting Notes: A fantastic, old time example of bismuthinite from Canada!!! This specimen hosts a rich showing of massive crystalline bismuthinite on a quartz matrix!!! The bismuthinite has brilliant silvery metallic luster!!! This specimen is from the Delaware University Mineral Museum and retains a detailed notecard that notes its significance as a bismuth ore and its role in industry - namely its use in peptoBISmol!!!
