Description/Interesting Notes: An old time example of bismuthinite with native gold from Utah!!! This specimen consists of a parial crystal of bismuthinite that hosts numerous submillimeter masses and crystals of native gold!!! Upon close inspection with a loupe or scope, one can see that there are numerous areas of native gold scattered throughout the specimen!!! A few of the areas of native gold are actually single, well formed crystals embedded within the bismuthinite!!! Very interesting old time material!!! This specimen is from the A.E. Seaman Mineral Museum and retains its original museum label as well!!! The pics hardly do it justice!!! Must be seen in person to be fully appreciated!!!
