Description/Interesting Notes: A magnificent example of hematite pseudomorphs after spessartine garnet with bixbyite from Utah!!! This specimen consists of a handsome cluster of hematite pseudomorphs after spessartine garnet crystals that has been aesthetically accented by razor-sharp cubes of jet-black bixbyite!!! The pseudomorphs are very sharply defined in person and exhibit sharp garnet crystal faces all around!!! Rarely does one see these specimens so sharp and well formed!!! This specimen is in fantastic condition all around and displays magnificently in person!!! Upon close inspection with a loupe or scope one can see some minute crystals of topaz present as well!!!
