Description/Interesting Notes:
A fantastic example of this very rare gold lead copper iron telluride from Bisbee!!! This specimen
consists of a handsome group of intergrown pyrite crystals in association with a small amount of matrix!!!
As it is, it is a terrific example of pyrite from Bisbee in and of itself, however
this is a significant example of bogdanovite as well!!! The bogdanovite is present as minute, microscopic inclusions
throughout the pyrite (confirmed by Tony Nikischer)!!! Upon close examination one can see minute grains across the surface of the pyrite as well
as unusual features throughout and in the associated matrix as well!!! Not only is this a great example of this
very rare gold lead copper iron telluride, it is a terrific Bisbee specimen as well!!! This specimen retains a label
from Excalibur Minerals (Tony Nikischer) as well!!! Very rare material indeed!!! The pics hardly
do it justice!!! Must be seen in person to be fully appreciated!!!
