Description/Interesting Notes: A magnificent example of boleite from Mexico!!! Boleite crystals are most often encountered as single crystals, with matrix examples being quite scarce indeed!!! This specimen hosts numerous sharp, deep blue cubic crystals of boleite on matrix in association with scattered crystals of whitish anglesite!!! The boleite crystals have characteristic rich blue color with sharp, lustrous faces and measure in size to over .5cm!!! There are numerous crystals of boleite scattered throughout the entire specimen!!! Although one can see numerous natural fissures in the matrix, it is natural and stable - with minute anglesite and selenite crystals scattered throughout!!! Rare material!!!
