Description/Interesting Notes: A terrific example of boleite from the type locality in Mexico!!! This specimen consists of a highly complex cubo-octahedral crystal that exhibits some partial alteration to green paratacamite!!! The crystal had numerous complexly etched surfaces that are NOT damaged - this specimen is actually complete and in fantastic condition!!! The boleite has lusterous faces and deep royal blue color!!! The complex faces seem to accentuate the color in person!!! Simply a fantastic example of this rare species!!! The pics hardly do it justice!!!
