Boracite Alto Chapare District, Chapare Province, Cochabamba Department, Bolivia 3.53cm x 2.9cm x 1.95cm

Description/Interesting Notes: A very rare PINK boracite crystal from Bolivia!!! This specimen hosts a single crystal of pink boracite proudly perched on matrix!!! The boracite crystal is quite complex however it is complete and pristine all around!!! The crystal has glassy luster and high translucence!!! The crystal has rich pink color and is almost reminiscent of a Swiss fluorite from a distance!!! This specimen is one of only TWO that were found and was brought back to Tucson by Alfredo Petrov!!! There are a few other small pink boracite crystals embedded in the matrix as well!!! The pics don't even come close to doing this rare and unusual specimen justice!!! Simply an incredible find!!!
