Boracite Boulby Mine, Loftus, North Yorkshire, England 7.24cm x 3.55cm x 1.91cm

Description/Interesting Notes: A fantastic example of this rare species from England!!! This specimen consists of a dense cluster of mint green crystals of gemmy boracite!!! The crystals are highly lustrous, complex, and gemmy!!! In addition to the boracite crystals, there are some tiny, unidentified darkly colored, hair-like crystals distributed amongst the boracite crystals!!! Upon close examination there is also a tiny, lone group of darkly colored crystals to 1mm as well!!! Regardless of the unknown associates, this is simply a gorgeous and showy example of boracite from perhaps one of the best localities for the species!!! The pics hardly do it justice!!!
