Description/Interesting Notes:
A fantastic example of bornite from Butte!!! This specimen hosts a rich showing of highly complex bornite crystals in association
with numerous brilliant golden pyrite crystals scattered among sharp, gemmy quartz points!!! The bornite
crystals exhibit characteristically complex forms with marked iridescence!!! There is a significant amount of tiny, unidentified submillimeter
sized crystals perched on the surfaces of the bornite crystals - upon close inspection with a loupe or scope these
crystals have brilliantly lustrous faces!!! This specimen is in fantastic condition and displays magnificently in person!!! This
specimen is from the University of Delaware Mineral Museum!!! Classic material!!!
The pics hardly do it justice!!! Must be seen in person to be fully appreciated!!!
Good luck and be sure to check out my other exciting mineral auctions on ebay!!!
