A terrific, old time example of bournonite from this classic locality!!! This specimen hosts a group of sharp, discrete crystals
of bournonite prominently perched in a vug with sphalerite and chalcopyrite!!! The bournonite crystals are
sharp, complete, and undamaged with grayish metallic luster!!!
This specimen came from old material that came from the A.E. Seaman Museum - the material
had not been catalogued but was noted as coming from the German mineralogist B. Klose!!! Classic material!!!
The pics hardly do it justice!!! Must be seen in person to be fully appreciated!!!
