Description/Interesting Notes: A fantastic, unique example of bournonite and galena from Peru!!! This specimen consists of a striking and unusual cluster of spinel-twin galena crystals that hosts a complex, blocky crystal of bournonite prominently perched among them!!! The galena crystals exhibit rare and dramatic spinel twinning - giving them a complex blade-like habit with brilliantly metallic silver luster and exhibit an almost "melted" look!!! The crystals are simply incredible upon close inspection in person!!! The bournonite crystal has a somewhat blocky habit with striated features and dark gray metallic luster!!! This is an amazing example of the species for the locale!!! Simply incredible material!!! The pics hardly do it justice!!! Must be seen in person to be fully appreciated!!!
