Brochantite Tsumeb, Namibia 5.08cm x 4.45cm x 2.44cm Ex. Schortmann's

Description/Interesting Notes: A magnificent example of brochantite from Tsumeb!!! This specimen is comprised almost entirely of rich emerald green brochantite crystals in association with a small amount of fibrous green malachite!!! The brochante crystals are sharp, lustrous, and gemmy!!! The brochantite crystals are large and in magnificent condition!!! There is a tiny area of fibrous malachite located on one corner of the specimen as well!!! Both sides of this specimen host a gorgeous showing of gemmy, undamaged, emerald green crystals of brochantite!!! In many cases, fine examples of brochantite from Tsumeb often turn out to be malachite or other species - however this specimen is confirmed brochantite!!! This old time beauty retains an old Schortmann's label as well!!! The pics don't even come close to doing it justice!!!
