Description/Interesting Notes: A rare, old time example of brochantite from Bisbee!!! This specimen is comprised almost entirely of brochantite!!! The brochantite is present as juxtaposed crystals that are unusually complex, thick, and blocky!!! The crystals exhibit some curiously curvaceous features as well!!! A very unusual, old time specimen indeed!!! The crystals have deep green color and marked luster!!! We obtained this specimen in a parcel of old collection material and I am told that this specimen likely dates to the early 1900's!!! The pics hardly do it justice!!!
