An old time example of enstatite var. bronzite from Austria!!! This specimen consists of a grouping of intergrown crystals of bronzite that
exhibit characteristic brassy-golden iridescence when viewed at varying angles!!! The effect is actually a bit
similar to what is seen in labradorite - essentially this specimen has a lively golden "labradorescence"!!!
This specimen retains old labels from Stephen Varne, the Sunshine Acres School (a very "unique" fully
accredited private school - circa 1939, it was part of the nation's first Nudist colony), and the Wintringham Collection!!!
