Description/Interesting Notes: A fantastic example of bronzite from New York City!!! This specimen hosts a single crystal of bronzite in matrix!!! The bronzite crystal is sharply defined and exhibits the "bronze"-like flash characteristic of this uncommon enstatite varietal!!! The crystal's iridescent flash is quite pronounced in person!!! This specimen is from the Manhattan-Staten Island Water Tunnel dumps and was collected decades ago!!! The pics hardly do it justice!!!
