Description/Interesting Notes: A very rare, old time example of brucite from the TYPE LOCALITY in HOBOKEN, NEW JERSEY!!! This specimen hosts an exposed vein of intergrown crystals of brucite!!! The brucite crystals are prominently exposed and have a decidedly pearescent luster!!! This specimen retains an old label from the Oxford University as well as an older unattributed label and catalogue number (note the label erroneously states "Hoboken, New York")!!! These old, type locality brucite specimens are very rarely seen today!!! The pics hardly do it justice!!! Rare, old time material!!!
