Description/Interesting Notes:
An absolutely superb example of brucite from this historic Pennsylvania locale!!! This is a KILLER old time beauty!!! While
brucite is more often seen as poorly formed masses of nearly opaque lamellar crystals - this specimen consists of a cluster of sharp,
thick, lustrous hexagonal crystals with fine gemmy clarity!!! The individual intergrown crystals are sharply defined, complete, and
undamaged!!! This is an AMAZING specimen of extraordinary quality!!! This specimen is literally so good that it could
easily be mistaken for another species!!! It was quite difficult to capture in the pictures - in person this specimen is INCREDIBLE!!!
These classic, old time Pennsylvania brucite specimens are exceedingly scarce in such fine quality!!! Don't miss out on this
rare, old time gem!!!
The pics hardly do it justice!!! Must be seen in person to be fully appreciated!!!
Good luck and be sure to check out my other exciting mineral auctions on ebay!!! STAY TUNED!!! MORE AUCTIONS WILL BE ADDED SATURDAY NIGHT FOR A SPECIAL 5-DAY AUCTION, ENDING THURSDAY JUNE 21st!!!
