Description/Interesting Notes: A fantastic group of rare buergerite tourmaline crystals from Mexico!!! This is a group of three individual crystals of buergerite!!! The crystals are sharp and complete and all three rest on a small amount of matrix!!! The crystals have highly complex terminations and exhibits the characteristic unique brownish color that has a tiger's-eye-like internal irridescence to it!!! These old type locality specimens came from a single group of specimens recovered by a single miner and brought to Tucson in the 1960's - unfortunately the miner died before revealing the exact location to anyone and it remains lost to this day!!!
