Description/Interesting Notes:
A fantastic example of rare buergerite tourmaline from Mexico!!! This specimen consists of a sharp, pristine crystal of buergerite
in association with a small amount of matrix!!! The crystal has highly complex terminations and exhibits the characteristic unique
brownish color that has a tiger's-eye-like internal irridescence to it!!! It is a fantastic example of the species indeed!!! These
old type locality specimens came from a single group of specimens recovered by a single miner and brought to Tucson in the 1960's
- unfortunately the miner died before revealing the exact location to anyone and it remains lost to this day!!!
Good luck and be sure to check out my other exciting mineral auctions on ebay!!!
