Description/Interesting Notes: An extremely rare, old time example of afwillite from Kimberley!!! This is a particularly fine example of this rare and highly sought after species from the original, type locality!!! This specimen consists of a complex group of parallel, intergrown crystals of translucent whitish afwillite crystals!!! There is one particularly thick crystal that is almost gemmy!!! This specimen is completely terminated on one end - with sharp, undamaged terminations!!! This is an INCREDIBLE example of the species in extremely fine condition!!! Upon close inspection with a loupe or a scope, one can see that even the smallest crystals are terminated (when looking down the c-axis the fineness of the crystals is particularly evident)!!! These specimens are next to impossible to acquire!!! This is OLD material that was very scarce to begin with!!! Simply an amazing specimen in ever regard!!! Don't miss out on this valuable rarity!!!
