Description/Interesting Notes: A classic, old time example of cadmian smithsonite from Ireland!!! This specimen consists of intense, bright yellow, botryoidal cadmium smithsonite crystals!!! The smithsonite has striking, intense yellow color and shows marked translucence as well!!! There is a small amount of colorless fluorite matrix present on the underside as well!!! This is OLD material, likely dating back a century or more!!! The pics hardly do it justice!!! Must be seen in person to be fully appreciated!!!
