Description/Interesting Notes: A classic, old time example of cadmian smithsonite from Ireland!!! This specimen hosts a significant showing of intense, bright yellow cadmium smithsonite crystals on a fluorite crystal matrix!!! The smithsonite has intense yellow color and is present as a network of complex, wheatsheaf-like crystals and other curious forms!!! The underlying matrix of crystalline fluorite makes for a striking display!!! This is OLD material, likely dating back a century or more!!! The pics say it all!!!
