Description/Interesting Notes:
An absolutely magnificent example of these two rare species from one of the most exciting finds of recent years!!!
These specimens were part of a very small find of truly exceptional "best of species" material from Inner Mongolia!!!
This specimen consists of a cluster of intergrown blades of green borcarite crystals that host numerous complex cahnite
crystals scattered about!!! The borcarite crystals are present as groups of greenish, intergrown blades!!! Cahnite was
previously most famous from Franklin where the crystals were extremely rare and highly sought after by collectors!!! The
cahnite crystals exhibit complex, somewhat rounded triangular forms !!! In addition to the cahnite and borcarite, there is a
tiny amount of a yellow unidentified species that is likely another rare species!!! Rare material!!!
The pics hardly do it justice!!! Must be seen in person to be fully appreciated!!!
Good luck and be sure to check out my other exciting mineral auctions on ebay!!!
