Description/Interesting Notes: A rare locality example of this very rare species!!! These Japanese cahnite specimens were limited to just a scant handful of specimens, nearly all of which now reside in collections in Japan!!! This specimen was acquired through famed dealer Alfredo Petrov who had a triple digit price tag on this specimen (and for those unfamilar, Alfredo is well known for having some of the fairest prices around!)!!! This specimen consists of a vuggy matrix that hosts numerous submillimeter complex crystals of cahnite!!! The small crystal size and color made it nearly impossible to photograph!!!
