Description/Interesting Notes:
An absolutely magnificent example of these two rare species from one of the most exciting finds of recent years!!! These
specimens were part of a very small find of truly exceptional "best of species" material from Inner Mongolia!!! This specimen
consists of a cluster of intergrown sprays of green borcarite crystals that host a rich showing of complex, colorless cahnite
crystals!!! The borcarite crystals range in size up to 1.3cm and are present as sprays of doubly terminated crystals!!! The
borcarite crystals exhibit dark green to striking blue green color with areas of marked clarity!!! The blue green color is
somewhat reminiscent of fine phosphophyllite!!! The borcarite crystals are sharp and highly lustrous!!! Cahnite
was previously most famous from Franklin where the crystals were extremely rare and highly sought after by collectors!!! This specimen
is loaded with complex triangular crystals of cahnite that measure up to 3mm!!! The cahnite crystals exhibit highly complex
forms with numerous interpenetrant triangular crystals that are simply incredible upon close examination with a loupe or scope!!!
This specimen is in magnificent condition all around and displays stunningly in person!!! This is a killer example of
both species and is just loaded with cahnite crystals!!! This valuable specimen is WAY better than the pics show!!! This small find
of incredible material was one of the most exciting new finds made in recent years!!! Don't miss out on this
