Description/Interesting Notes: A terrific example of calaverite from this historic locality!!! This specimen hosts a rich showing of silvery metallic calaverite on matrix!!! There is a thick band of silvery metallic calaverite that stretches across the specimen's broad face!!! Upon close inspection one can see numerous crystalline features scattered about as well!!! Upon close examination with a loupe or a scope there are several small areas that host areas of what appear to be altered tellurides in intimate association with unidentified micaceous material as well!!! This specimen retains an old, unattributed label as well!!! Classic material!!! The pics hardly do it justice!!! Must be seen in person to be fully appreciated!!!
