Description/Interesting Notes:
A terrific example of calaverite from this classic locality!!! This specimen consists of the characteristic matrix that hosts numerous striated prismatic
crystals partially included in the matrix!!! The crystals have a particularly golden-silver hue in person and, upon close examination, appear to host some
partial native gold pseudomorphs (best viewed with a loupe or scope)!!! The matrix itself hosts a distribution of microcrystals
as well!!! The fluorite
has lively purple color and there are some curious square-shaped marks (quartz replacing fluorite?) present as well!!! The pics hardly do it justice!!! Must
be seen in person to be fully appreciated!!!
Good luck and be sure to check out my other exciting mineral auctions on ebay!!!
