Description/Interesting Notes: An aesthetic, old time example of calcite from this historic locale!!! This specimen hosts a striking showing of complexly bladed crystals of calcite that show intense red hematite inclusions!!! The crystals are present as highly complex, modified blade-like rhombs that have bright glassy luster and marked translucence!!! The crystals exihibit showy, deep red inclusions of microcrystalline hematite localized within their outer edges!!! The juxtaposed, blade like crystals combined with the colorful, selective inclusions make for a very showy display indeed!!! This specimen is in magnificent condition all around and displays gorgeously in person!!! This specimen retains an old label from the Nemesczeck Collection as well!!! The pics hardly do it justice!!!
