Description/Interesting Notes: An aesthetic example of manganoan calcite (manganocalcite) from Peru!!! This specimen consists of complex, stalactite-like towers of intergrown rhombs of pink, manganoan calcite!!! The manganoan calcite crystals have marked translucence and complexly etched surfaces!!! The specimen is in fantastic condition and displays magnificently!!! The specimen also fluoresces an intense pinkish orange under UV!!!
